SNAG:
1. A rough, sharp, or jagged protuberance, as:
a. A tree or a part of a tree that protrudes above the surface in a body of water.
2. A break, pull, or tear in fabric.
3. An unforeseen or hidden obstacle. See Synonyms at obstacle.
4. A short or imperfectly developed branch of a deer’s antler.
The 2011 A/W collection, titled Snag, is all about roughness and obscurity. The fabrics are torn and patched. The knits are purposely imperfect. Some parts are too short, some are too long – and that’s what makes them one of a kind.
Collection presented at Fashion Philosophy Fashion Week Poland and Berlin Fashion Week, The EDGED Showroom.
